Can anyone please help with a repeat issue on a 1963 Rowe AMI JAL vinyl jukebox. Periodically selections are repeating numerous times (ie if I select two records the first will play, then the second plays two or three times in succession. Also I noticed when we had a bunch of friends round that it seemed to get stuck in a repetitive loop of 4-5 selections which played over and over again in succession even though many other selections were made prior to and subsequent to the original selections. Switching the internal scan/off/on switch to off after one of the repeat loop selections stored in the carousel seemed to clear the repeat loop and the other selections were able to play. Any suggestions as to the cause please?
Thanks

Hello Macenorman,
I take it that your name is Norman.
I would check out the Search Unit for sticking pins and also check out the Stop Plate assembly for dry joints on the track (slip rings) on the back of the assembly, also check the switches that they are adjusted correctly, personally I have never found the switches to be faulty on Rowe Ami jukeboxes.
