Ok I have had this Tron game 4 years and finally decided to look at it more closely. I replaced the power supply with an arcade power supply and now the game plays blind. I can hear the correct sounds and the coin mechs work to add credits. Then the game will play like it should but there is not picture. I have neck glow in the monitor and the screen look like the below pictures. The first thing I am going to do is get a CAP kit and re CAP the monitor. I am thinking that will most likely fix it. What do you think? Am I on the right track based on the pictures?

I played with all the adjustments but could not get the picture to come in. It would lighten and darken and that is all. I switched out the chassis board with a known good one but I got the same picture on the tube. I tried the monitor adjustments again but they did not work.
The last thing to switch is the tube so I am going to look for a tube unless someone has a better idea.

It may be the tube itself BUT I would check all resistors on the CRT board on the back of the kneck of the tube ,also any circuits you can see that feed to that board. I'm new to the forum but ran a tv shop for the last 20 yrs .Hope this helps , I used to get alot of tvs like that with mostly an open resistor feeding the screen voltage. It does sorta look like you got some burn in , in that screen to but hard to tell. Good luck , I love Tron ! :applaud:

I replaced the tube with one I believe is good. It also has less burn in. But I got the same thing again. Any idea or anyone in the Savannah/Hinesville area that may be willing to help for some compensation?
FYI I bought it in pieces. The guy was going to part it out on Ebay because he could not get it fixed. It was dragged 3 hours on its back to get to my house. It was put back together then shipped 1500 miles with the rest of my stuff when I moved.

I had the monitor cable on the wrong conector. I switched it adjusted the picture and it is good now. A member on KLOV told me to check.
