Gents,
Not even sure if this belongs in the Mala forum. If it doesn't please move with my apologies. I am running Mala 1.74. When I try to load up a Playstation iso through Mala through epsxe the game starts but won't display. All I get is horizontal banding across the screen. This is the same for PS2. I am using a Makvision tri-sync crt monitor (640x480) with an Arcade VGA. Games in Mame and Daphne work fine. Is there maybe a setting that is not checked off? I have selected:
External SPU Plugin 1.41
Moobys CD Image Drive 2.8
Pete's OpenGL 1.71
Any thoughts?
Thanks for any help.
Evan

Is it working outside of Mala?
Have you tried the command line settings in this thread?

Does not work outside on MALA either. It finds the image fine and loads it. Just won't display it properly. I was looking in the configs for an option to maybe change the output resolution settings? My thinking was that maybe it's running at something outside of the monitors tri-sync settings? I get the same problem with MACH 3. Loads up fine and I can start to play it (well I can hear it playing), just can't see anything as the screen goes haywire with horizontal lines. I thought that buying an authentic CRT arcade monitor would display everything and give me that authentic arcade feel and look.

what's the lowest resolution your version of Pete's OpenGL will do?

Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76 and Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.8 are the only options.
I actually just got it working. I must have been at it too late last night. In the 1.76 config options I set the default to "Nice" and changed the desktop resolution to 640x480 to match my monitors setting. Everything loads and works great now!
MACH 3 still does not display properly though. But the Nintendo, PS1, PS2 and the rest all finally load and display properly.
Thanks for the help!
