I have a friend who has a Street Fighter II Championship Edition that works great. He would like to get a 49/1 multijamma board and swap out boards to be able to play some new games. When I looked on KLOV, it says that Street Fighter II CE is a Capcom CPS Jamma, but not sure if those have different pinouts that a regular jamma machine. Since I am a few hours away from him, I don't want to make a trip to actually inspect the board to see if it is a typical Jamma, does anyone know if this is a simple swap the board upgrade or if there needs to be some sort of adapter to convert to true jamma that would work with the 49/1 boards?
Thanks in advance - I am sure with the knowledge on this board that the question won't go unanswered for long!

SFIICE is JAMMA, however, it uses a kick harness for the kick buttons (buttons 4-6). Buttons 1-3 are handled with the normal JAMMA wiring.

So plug and play - Cool thanks HaRuMaN

The 49 in 1 is vertical and ultra populated with 4-way games (and several years out of date since the 60 in 1 is the same thing with 11 more games). His machine is horizontal and has 8-way joysticks.
The horizontal 19 in 1 is probably more his speed. Or one of the pricier 1xxx in 1 boards. Beware of the boards that have more than 100 games but less than 1000, those are trash, they don't have the horsepower to run the installed titles at full speed.

Wow, good point, Paigeoliver. Even though the image would be much smaller, is there a setting to make the image appear correctly on a horizontal monitor with the 60/1 boards? Just ordered it yesterday - DOH.

Your only option would be to rotate the monitor (assuming it would still fit)

Thanks guys. Like I said before - DOH! hehe.
Anyway, I have a cab with a 49 in 1 board, hopefully in the extra 11 games there is a cool 1 or 2.

as said before, rotate the monitor
