Title: forum upgrade issue a quoted reply

I found a quoted reply that is broken after the upgrade.
I think this one has to do with the user having an exclamation point in their user name...

There may be others, but I only noticed this instance.

That one's probably lost :( If it's important I might be able to manually edit the database.

Nah.  not important.  Let it go.

Why does SMF allow punctuation in a user name?

That doesn't seem like a good idea.
