Title: Unique Super Punch Out problem....ideas needed
Post by: ghettodish on July 22, 2012, 04:26:13 pm
It looks like I'll be making a Punch Out cabinet soon. I discovered that Super Punch Out has a Joystick with a "pull-up to block" function, and I would like to keep this feature. I know I could just add an extra button to the control panel, if I have to.

I know a micro switch (like on a TurboTwist High-Low spinner) could be added to the joystick somehow.
I thought about a MagStick Plus as base to start since it already has a bit of a Pull function built-in.

Any creative solutions  out there?

Edit....never mind. I just found the 5-way stick I need at MikesArcade.com

Are you buying the actual joystick of the conversion kit for use with any joystick.  I'm just curious how they work.  Let us know once you get it.

I'll get the complete 5-way stick. I don't think the conversion kit fits "any" joystick, just the Nintendo 4-way. I could be wrong, tho. I'll have to ask Mike!
