Now that's very unique !!!  :applaud:

I like it.. ;)

Whats the make and model of the screen?
How is it connected? and are speakers built it?

I like it but would there be a way to round the raise corners that surround the control area?

Get a long widescreen, like a rear view camera screen and have it be a dedicated Darius toybox.  It is a great idea but the screen to bezel ratio makes me twitch.

Cool idea.
I would mount a larger screen to the inside of a flip up lid.

Interesting!

I would have the joystick and buttons on the lid, with a see through panel over the monitor. It would encourage him to put his toys away in order to play ;)

Insert Toys for credit ;)

I look forward to seeing how this goes

This thing looks great. I really dig that paint sketch up you did.
I'm keeping an eye on this one.

One of my art professors always swore by painting a base coat of gesso over the tape and surrounding area before top coat application then scoring the paint line lightly with a razor before lifting off to get crisp clean lines.  It's a lot of work but his technique seems to be tried and true.

I've heard really good things about Frogtape. It might be worth a try.
Even the reviews look promising.

(You're using Frogtape) Sorry I missed that LT.  :banghead:

Looks good. You should cut out the pac-man and ghosts and then screw them in (maybe 1/2 inch wood?).
It'll give it a more 3D look.

if your worried about the painting of the dots and pacman image and such
CHEAT why not get those printed high quality stickyback ;) that way youll always have a few spare also :)
other than that love it so far :) looking into the frogtape also my worries with stenciling and masking tape is always the BLEED scoring litely and also removing tape --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type-- its totally dry helps  :)
keep up the great effort :D

That paint job really stands out. (that's a good way to paint the eyes on the ghosts, I'm sure I would've just try painting it with a brush and messed it up)
Awesome work!

I love the carriage bolts as dots.  This looks awesome, makes me jealous though.  When I was a wee lad my toy box was simply the floor of my closet.

Great work Louis! It turned out excellent!
Looks like your son is going to have years of fun with that. When he gets tired of the toys, he can play a game, and vice versa.
This is a really good idea!

Haha nice!!! I think I have some time before my little one gets to that point (although not that long) she's still pointing at everything shouting 'BA' and drooling everywhere, should give me time to finish the cab just in time for her to start beating me at everything.
