As I am finishing up all of the labor associated with building an cabinet, I am knee deep in emulator/frontend configurations. I had planned on putting a couple of PC games on my box and launching them through Mala. The first one that came to mind was Doom, but I bet there are quite a few out there that lend themselves well to being played on a cabinet. Im sure quite a few that arent 1st person shooters as well.
So if you are running PC games on your cab, let me know what they are! Im really curious!

How about some newer 2D platformers like Super Meat Boy, N+, VVVVVVVV, Splosion Man, Jumper, etc? Those play great with arcade controls in my opinion. The first two GTA games are free from RockStar and would also probably work well. If you have flight controls, some of the X-Wing games would also be cool.

If your going to have a track ball... try a game called "hamster ball" basically marble madness but updated with a hamster.

Street Fighter IV
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade
Invaders, Possibly From Space
With some accessories:
Frets on Fire (free Guitar Hero/Rock Band knockoff)
Stepmania (freel Dance Dance Revolution knockoff)
Digital Leisure PC versions of the American Laserdisc light gun games.
There is a sticky in the software forum on PC games that work well on cabs.

A relevant thread to peruse: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=88060.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=88060.0)
Would love to see an update with new games :)

I only have Virtua Tennis 3 and Bionic Commando Reloaded running on mine at the moment.

I've been thinking about Doom II lately. I played it with just the keyboard... so I'd think it would work in a cab with arcade controls. Dunno.

Trackball and a Tron stick oughta work for that yes?

Looks like there are ways to make it work.

I've got Street Fighter IV. I also have Rom Check Fail (http://playthisthing.com/rom-check-fail) and Legend of Princess (http://www.konjak.org/index.php?folder=4&file=11).
When I get time, I would like to get two games from my younger days working: Jazz Jackrabbit 1 and 2.
Most of the other games from my past are point-and-click, like Monkey Island and stuff. Not really suited for a cabinet.

Platypus, Platypus II, Typhoon 2001, Luxor series (these require trackball/spinner)
Mechatron 2007

Looks like a trackball or joystick with 4 buttons would do it.

Haven't bought it quite yet, but Offspring Fling (http://offspringfling.com/) would be a good suggestion.

I have The Last Starfighter game installed mostly for "wow!" effect with friends.
I also just installed the PC version of Beach Head 2000. It is pretty fun, although similar to one of the "Crossbow" style lightgun games.
I was also going to install old PC versions of Star Wars: Episode I Racer and Rogue Squadron, but it appears that LucasArts has effectively abandoned all support of those. Most stuff I've read says the only way to get those on a PC now is to get the N64 emulator and go that route.

Super Street Fighter 4 AE
Limbo
Super Mario War
Ether Vapor Remastered
Mega Man Rocks
Still working on adding more.
AutoHotKey is a life saver for the games that don't have configurable controls.

Hydorah
Stealth Bastard
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition
Street Fighter X Tekken
The Ur-Quan Masters (just for Hyper Melee)
Millenipede
Super Crate Box
Working on getting a couple Worms games on there also, and that Super Mario War the previous poster mentioned looks fun!
