Title: Documentary short that I made. R/C guy.
Post by: koolmoecraig on July 16, 2012, 11:36:22 pm
My friend and I made a little documentary short about Colby Evett. Colby pretty much invented two-way radio controlled airplanes. He's 92 years old and still working at his hobby store.

Hm. I get 503 - Guru Meditation.

Oh, refresh solved that.  Actually, that music's better than most Glass. Might reduce the volume on it a touch, though.

Thanks. Yeah it's an original piece of music that we had a guy write. Going to mix it down a tad.

Well done! I hate to be picky though, but radio control is generally one way. Is that what you mean? Two way implies that the aircraft is sending a signal back, say a picture or something...

Good point Danny.  Technology that Colby invented did lead to advancements in two-way communication but not within R/C airplanes.  He would mis-speak during the interview sometimes and that is something that I didn't catch while putting this together.
