Title: Question for Kujina or Minwah--Active Media Screensaver??
Post by: arcadecab on October 05, 2003, 10:22:40 pm
Kujina or Minwah,

I a previous thread, you both mentioned experience with a screensaver that would allow play of a movie file.  The line was this:
http://www.bykeyword.com/pages/detail0/download-859.html
I downloaded the file and after installation, it says Active Media Player was performed an illegal operation and will not allow anything to work.
Nothing seems to work.  I really wanted to try the screensaver, but not sure what else to do.  Any ideas??
Thanks.
Or, with the second link that was given on the Minwah, requested features thread--any suggestions on which one to use to get a movie file to simple work as a screensaver in Mamewah.
Thanks.

I had no problem with that screen-saver so I can't help :(

Did you try the other links I think Kujina provided in that thread?

What operating system are you using?

I am using Windows 98 SE.  Could that be the problem?
I seem to be finding alot of programs lately that are having problems with 98 SE.  Maybe time for an XP upgrade soon.
If the Active Media Screensaver doesn't work with 98--are there any other suggestions that might work in a similiar way?
Thanks.
