I've spent a fair bit of time googling, and no one seems to talk about using a CRT with component inputs and progressive scan for their arcade monitor. Am I wrong in thinking that this would look extremely close to an arcade monitor? I have a non-progressive scan TV that looks, surprise surprise, not all that crisp. And of course, my computer monitors look too crisp like they do for everybody. I don't own a progressive scan CRT and don't really want to buy one just to try it out, as I already have 3 old TVs in my house without a good way to get rid of them... Hoping to get some guidance before adding a fourth to the mix.

I suppose I should mention, I"m making a MAME machine, with a computer as the brains of course. I'm currently running S-Video to the RCA input on my TV. It looks fine, but not good.
