Title: Buying Seimitsu buttons in Canada?
Post by: shponglefan on July 10, 2012, 08:20:55 pm
Looking for parts sources either in Canada or that will ship to Canada for Seimitsu buttons.  Canadianjoysticks.com sells them but unfortunately is sold out of the parts I've wanted.

I look at the Playdium Store, but they only sell Sanwa parts.

Are there any other stores in Canada that might sell Seimitsu parts?  I've tried Googling, but can't find any.

Or alternatively, are there some good US or Euro retailers to order from that are willing to ship to Canada?

Did you try these guys? I've dealt with them before and they've moved from Oakville to Hamilton.

That site looks kinda sketchy.  Also, I don't see anything about them selling Seimitsu parts... or what parts they sell at all.

I believe Paradise Arcade (located in Hawaii) ships to Canada, good seller that carries Seimitsu.

+1 to Paradise -- Bryan ships to Canada, no problem.

Looks like he has Seimitsu buttons in stock.

Bonus: Susan sends chocolate treats with each order.  :drool

I've had good dealings with paradise arcade shop.

They didn't have what I needed the last couple times, so I ordered from www.focusattack.com (http://www.focusattack.com)
It's a small operation, but the quantity shown in stock is accurate and they ship fast.

You probably already know this, but if you order from the U.S.,
DO NOT USE UPS for shipping!  They tack on a small fortune for "brokerage fees"
Regular postal mail doesn't.

Thanks for the replies.  Focus Attack or Paradise Arcade look like they have what I'm looking for.

And yeah, I've been screwed in the past by UPS. Never again!

They aren't sketchy (or at least no sketchier than anybody else in this hobby) ... drop them a line and ask.

For my part, I would order from the US, pay for decent shipping via USPS and call it a day.

I've ordered from http://www.canadianjoysticks.com/ (http://www.canadianjoysticks.com/) before and had no issues. Prices are reasonable too.

If they get what I want in stock, I'd love to order from them.  I think I'll wait a couple weeks to see if they restock and if not just order from Paradise Arcade or Focus Attack.
