Title: No display on D9200
Post by: daeven on October 05, 2003, 11:19:45 am
I just picked up a refurbished Wells Gardner D9200.  I am getting no display from the PC.  The D9200 on-screen menu looks beautiful, and when I unplug the PC I get a 'no signal' message, so it obviously knows when there is a signal.

I also tried three different PCs all with different video cards.  I set the video settings to 640x480, 256 colors, 60 Hz.

Video cards tried:
-Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 (S3 ViRGE) w/Windows 98
-NVIDIA GeForce2 MX w/Windows 2000
-Rage XL PCI w/Windows 2000

Too bad WG didn't include a manual with this thing.  I'm probably missing something simple.

Thanks for any advice!

There are two sets of pins on the small board where you plug in the PC's VGA cable.  I think they are labled vga and cga (I'm not at home to look).  Check see if the cable coming from the neck board is plugged into vga.  I had a refurb chassis that was plugged into cga.  I had no picture until I moved it to vga.
