hi guys,
finally have a couple of days off coming up so i'm starting my new panel tomorrow. i noticed my new omnistickl2's have short handles so i'll have to surface mount them so i'll need to route out a space for the mounting bracket.
my question to you all, do you guys fill it in after, sand it down? or should i go with 5/8 board, route, install sticks and then glue a 1/8 board on over?
thanks guys

Here is a top mount step by step I did for the Namco reunion stick.

I top mounted my Omni2s and just ran some filler along the seam and in the screw heads before I applied art. Didn't even sand, just hit it with a damp sponge once it was tacky. Figured that once I topped with plexi you wouldn't be able to notice/tell/feel/spidey sense any imperfections and I was right. I think the topper board is overkill.

Dude that is an awesome link. I wish I had that before I mounted my art.
