Title: Cutting a large radius
Post by: yaksplat on June 25, 2012, 07:55:43 am
So I ran across this issue over the weekend and I thought I'd share my method and results.  I needed to cut a 57" curve for the front edge of a control panel.

Desired curve:

End Result:

I put a detailed write up on my blog.  Enjoy!

Thanks for the write-up!  I was actually just wondering about the best way to approach this the other day. :D

I can custom build anything.  Let me know what you need and I'll get you a price.  This was actually part of an order for 4 panels with plexiglass.

I knew about this method before and it's rock solid.  The funny part was I saw this on DIY network a day or two ago and was like "oh yeah" and then you posted it too!  Damn dejavuuuu.
