Heh...that looks prety cool.  Might be awkward incorporating that into a panel, though...

Agreed, seems like a pretty dumb addition to me.  You would have much more fun relaxed sitting in front of the tv with those in your lap than standing over a panel for hours.

It's like I always say, console games aren't meant to be put in arcade cabs, else they would have an arcade port.  :)

hmm, more bemani controllers shieldwolf?

I think you can get drummania controllers from konami (shop.himeya.com or used or elsewhere) or from Redoctane (www.redoctane.com)  and the only complaints that I've heard are that they're noisy (plastic hitting plastic) and the footpedal is really bad (I'm not SURE, but I think some of them are made out of material just like soft DDR pads... replace it with a good one if you care)

But please ask someone else as I haven't followed these too closely either.

there ARE simlutors, like BandJam, but as with the other sims, any simfile types requiring keysounds are a lot rarer...

(there are actually quite a few songs in the www.m-g-z.com download area, and most have keysounds for the drums but not the guitars...)

So are you saying your beloved mortal kombat 5 on xbox isn't worthy of playing in a cabinet?   ;D

I thought you were going to say because of Viewtiful Joe (which is an incredible looking platformer).  This is why I'm going to buy a $99 gamecube (and put it in a cabinet).
