Title: PC monitors color issues?

I have two 19 inch PC monitors I would like to use, but when I turn them both on their side the color goes  nuts.  Is there a way to fix this if I mount them in the arcade cab?

turn them on their sides THEN power them on.

the degauss circuit that aligns the screen only operates at startup...it's disabled for about 30 minutes after power down so the coil doesn't overheat. so power it off for a while, turn it on it's side, then power on.
