Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition download $10 on Amazon
(saw it on slickdeals)

Well worth it if you can work through all the Windows Live BS to get it installed.
(especially bad if you're using XP and haven't updated in a long time)
I can't wait until the price of Street Fighter X Tekken drops.
I'd pay full price if it didn't come with the problems of Windows Live.

I'm interested in this but have looked into bypassing that windows live problem before. I remember reading creating an offline account or something along those lines awhile back but I never got it to work.
I'm sure some of you have successfully bypassed the need for a windows live account but how? If this is against the rules/regulations of the board than just disregard my post.

You can create an offline account, but without an online update less than half the characters are playable. There is also a 2012 update that is worth doing and you'd have to have an online account to get it. I'm not sure if this download is a newer version that includes the patches, but I wouldn't count on it.

Isn't this one of those people have been screaming 'AVOID!!' over because your $10 (or whatever) only really gets you half the game, and you're expected to buy a whole bunch of trivial ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- you'd expect to be included (characters, costumes etc.) afterwards.
IOW, part of the current generation of scam games.

IOW, part of the current generation of scam games.
This one isn't that bad because Capcom caved and released a patch making (almost?) all the characters playable.
They seemed to have forgotten though and the current rip-off is Street Fighter X Tekken ($50).
It requires you to pay extra for main characters you'd think would be included (like Blanka).
The content is already included in the original download (or on the disc for consoles),
but they are calling it downloadable content and charging to unlock it.
This is what had people worked up. It's not an add-on or new content as it's being portrayed.
It it making you pay extra to access content on a disc you've already paid for.
I'll probably still buy it when the price drops to $20, but not before.

I dunno, it has everyone I have ever heard of. My computer scored a B when I performed the benchmark. Sucks to play on a keyboard, I'll tell you that much!
