Title: cadillacs and dinosaurs bootleg

Ive been out of the loop for like forever..cant remember when I last updated mame lol

can someone tell me if the bootleg version is playable? PRETTY sure thats what I played at the local arcade bazillion years ago. wanted to try it out again... :cheers:

I actually have that bootleg board, can't tell you about MAME, tho... lol.

what was different in the bootleg version? I remember music was all random..thats all I can remember :hissy:

Not sure to be honest...  all I know is the bootleg cost me a lot less!   >:D

final burn alpha does a better job of most of the cps bootlegs than MAME  (there was recently some work on them) http://www.barryharris.me.uk/ (http://www.barryharris.me.uk/)

the only interesting thing about most of the bootlegs is the awful looped sound tho, and said sound is driven by a read protected PIC (which therefore can't be dumped) so the bootlegs under emulation have no sound...
