Title: How did you make your demo video?

Looking for suggestions and tips you may have about putting together a video to show off finished work. Seen some good examples here and I'm wondering what software you used to edit and compose etc.

I did mine with a camera phone that does video and Windows Live Movie Maker on Win7.

But that's about as low budget as you can go (and it shows  :) )
