Title: Full size bartop donkeykong *VIDEO update*

Hi folks,

here is yet another donkeykong arcade, not sure if a full scale one has been done before as a Bartop? i have built the main structure, just the electrics now  ;D

please excuse the phone pics ( the nikon is still in the shop  ::) )

I like it!!! I have a half done plan to do this with a DK and a Burgertime. I will defiantly have to finish them now.

sorry for the long delay, all the usual excuses, all work and no play  :angry:

im off for a few days so will get a bit more done. stay tuned for more pictures  :cheers:

my biggest decision is weather to use a 60in1 pcb or to mame it? i think i might mame it due to the diversity of games available in the upright format?

I no the feeling pinballjim, I spent many many hours tweaking the screen angle. i ended up setting the screen angle to suite an average height person playing the arcade on a standard height table, boy it took a while to tweak.

Evening all,

Its been a long few weeks with little free time for the DK project  :banghead: I managed to free up a few hours tho and got the pc set up with mala and a great DK skin courtesy of a fellow forum member MikeBoss  :notworthy:

I only have a handful of things to complete, an amp has been ordered for the speakers so I can have a great volume range (no hacked speakers here gentlemen) and a back door for the machine.

Other than that the DK is complete. This will have been my 9th arcade build, all tho only my third posted on byoac. i love building these things

Slick! Very nice, I really like the scale. You get the stand up experience and look- w/o the headache of a full cab.
