Title: Ultimarc ArcadeVGA and S-Video
Post by: Peja on June 09, 2012, 10:26:16 pm
Hello all......I am currently trying to get my Ultimarc Arcade VGA card to work with a 36" Sony trinitron crt.  It was previously hooked up to a Sharp Image arcade monitor via vga/jpac and it worked great.....the monitor before and after a cap kit not so much.  Clarity was poor and no amount of adjusting would get it to work right.

A guy gave me this trinitron for free so I thought why not.

The arcadevga works on a computer monitor amd lcd tv via dvi and vga but unfortunately my computer monitor or lcd tv do not have s-video ports so I can't test on those.

The trinitron does show a picture when my laptop is connected via s-video.

So I am thinking it has something to do with the s-video/arcadevga.  Is there a setting I need to change or should it auto detect which output is being used?  If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Peja

Nevermind.....I know its not the solution to my problem but I just found an Nvidia 8600GTS card that had S-Video out.  It seems to work great.

This monitor has a few color issues but I think once I decase it, the internal controls will help me out a bit more.

Thanks for looking I suppose  :laugh2:
