Title: Universal 4/8 way restrictor plates similar to the old Oscars?

Anyone know of a product or hack that would allow for 4/8 switchable play on a Happ Competition.  I was hoping to come up with something that mounts under the panel for the competitions, but it doesn't look like that's very feasible.  My quandry is that I am a serious 90's SF2/MK player and will not have anything on my panel except Competitions (maybe perfect 360's if I could ever get a decent price).  I have tried over 1/2 dozen other joystick models and it's Competitions or nothing for me.

It seems like the old Oscar top-mount restrictor plates my be the only viable solution.  They were a bit ugly, but much less ugly than having two extra joysticks bolted onto my panel...

The hobby is going on 15 years and we still don't have a universal, switchable joystick restrictor?
