Would a chassis (deflection board, neck board, remote control board,VGA interface board, etc.) from a 33” Wells Gardner D9200 work on a 27” Wells Gardner D9200 Tube?
Thanks

Technically....yes. but no.
you would basically need to change this stuff...

theoretically, if you add/remove/change as needed... these items, it should work.

let alone the fact it may or may not be a bonded yoke

Thanks,
Looking at what lilshawn posted It seems that only the neck boards are the same part.
The Deflection and Input boards have different part numbers.
Everything should hook up though.
So what do you all think would happen if I hooked the good 33" Deflection and Input boards to the 27" neck board?
-
well alot in short order
it should fire up
but here is the rub
the yoke used on the 27" chassic is differnet then the used on the 33" tube
there is a small white tag on both of the yoke's
read there #'s and u will c this fact
and now this is what will happen
with the yoke's benning different it is a impedance problem
and the hot circuit is tuned to the yoke
u will run the risk of blowning up your hot transistor as a min problem
in short u are asking for problem's..but hey to each there own

Thanks ed12,
I'm looking for someone to service the 27" chassis.
I sent out inquiries to some repair people online.
Any suggestions?
If I cant get it repaired I guess I'll have to order a new Makvision or something.
I had planned for that possibility.
