I had issues with the x-arcade dual stick i bought so i picked up two madcatz fight sticks and modified the buttons. But the sticks are longer and wider than the current support i built and on top of that, the new wires and buttons wont fit in the casing so i have to figure out how to encase or drop in the new fight sticks.
Here are my sticks

here is my cab in its current state

Not sure what you are asking here. Are you trying to just place those Madcatz sticks on top of your control panel shelf?

Bingo!
I may need to build another shelf to fit it, but the issue still is the uncovered bottom with the buttons/wires extending out 1/4"

Nice cab! Did you built it yourself? If so why not just rip out the joysticks and buttons and insert them on your control panel? Besides if they are the WWE fightsticks the art on them wouldn't go well with your marquee.

It was a restore of a busted up cab. But i found out that the joysticks are not as big as Amazon Made them out to be. I am going to just mount them in the control panel stand. Should have that done this weekend

Glad it'll work out for you. Not sure if you saw this:

The guy building this took apart that very same fight stick you're using.
