I am a 90's fighter kind of guy, and for me it's happ competitions or nothing when it comes to an 8-way stick - I have tried Happ Supers, Wico 360s, Ultimarc T-Mags, Happ Ultimates, Wico 8-way leafs, and I keep coming back to the competition.
Has anyone pulled off a switchable 4-way/8-way restrictor plate for the Happ Competition? I wouldn't even mind an under-the-panel solution so long as the swap from 8-way to 4-way is relatively quick. The only option I can see working near perfectly are the old Oscar restrictor plates, and not only are those no longer made, but they were also a bit ugly/clunky.

I like the comps too but I don't think it would be much of a candidate for 4-way restriction because of the big square actuator.
Groovy Game Gear has a restrictor available for the Supers but I don't think they'd be a quick on-off type of thing.

its nearly impossible to get a great all around joystick. Since you a fighting fan, What 4 way games are you looking to play. What do you have the comps mounted in now arcade or small control panel?
