Been a while since I updated.
www.malafe.net (http://www.malafe.net) is not there anymore.
http://mala.arcadezentrum.com/ (http://mala.arcadezentrum.com/)
linked to in the BYOAC wiki takes me to a screen that just says "It Works!"
Where are people supposed to download MALA from now?
I downloaded v1.74 on my laptop and never set it up, so I can just copy that folder,
but seriously....where are people who have never used it supposed to download it from?
EDIT: WORKS FINE FROM WORK AND MY CELL PHONE, just not my house. :-\
-
You sure? I just went there, and it looks like it has to me. Maybe a net problem?
-
Yep, up for me too... maybe just a hiccup.
-
I think its a comcast issue or something. I cant get there form home, but if I remote into a client's terminal server I go there with no problem. I downloaded the set up and then gmailed it to myself.

Strange, but I do have Comcast. It hangs for a bit and then says the webpage cannot be displayed.
This is with internet explorer. I'll have to switch computers and try a different browser.
EDIT: Same result with Firefox. The website comes up fine on my phone. Strange, very strange.
-
On AT&T here, FWIW.
-
I'm up on my no good lousy CTVEA service.
-
Comes up fine for me. I use CLEAR for my internet.
-
I have Comcast too and it also hangs and then says could not connect to malafe.net. I am using Google Chrome.
-
Sounds like comcast has a DNS server routing issue.
-
Are you guys still having problems getting in? I also have Comcast and cant access the Mala site.
Any work arounds?
-
I came accross this, but it sounds like it's better if the MALA website admin submits it:
https://www.comcastsupport.com/sdcxuser/asp/frameset.asp?mainframe=%2Fsdcxuser%2Fasp%2Fcomcast%5Fblockedprovider%2Easp%3F (https://www.comcastsupport.com/sdcxuser/asp/frameset.asp?mainframe=%2Fsdcxuser%2Fasp%2Fcomcast%5Fblockedprovider%2Easp%3F)

FWIW, we use ntelos for our ISP at work. I cannot get to malafe.net here. I also cannot access it from my Verizon iphone. I really dont think it has anything to do with Comcast. I've also tried changing my DNS servers and still can't get in. :banghead:

I can usually access it from work, but it's not coming up today.
-
On Time Warner Cable NC here and never had a site blocked by the ISP that i'm aware of. Couldn't get to MalaFe.net. Probably a hosting issue at this point.
-
Well, several days ago I could still get to it, but not anymore.
-
It's back up. :)
(at work through Verizon anyway)
-
Rolling blackouts? Back working here as well.
-
Yay! Server problems maybe? I'm back on as well. :D
-
Now works with comcast! ;D
-
Back up for me too :applaud:
-
Yeah all good.
I was worried for a while as someone took it over and injected a spambot opce, but not this time.
