I made my first outing looking for retro consoles and picked up a BattleStation II which appears to be new in the box with all the cables. My first inclination is to take it apart and see what makes it tick.
Is this an item that should be left complete or would it be cool to mod the thing to work on newer consoles too?
I have a box, not the bag: http://www.smstributes.co.uk/gethwinfo.asp?hardwareid=17 (http://www.smstributes.co.uk/gethwinfo.asp?hardwareid=17)

I put together an album of everything that was in the box: http://imgur.com/a/hk9U6 (http://imgur.com/a/hk9U6)
I pulled a couple of pics from this thread where a guy put app joysticks in one.
I made a PDF of the manual too: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19144386/BattlestationII_Instruction_Manual.pdf (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19144386/BattlestationII_Instruction_Manual.pdf)
I'm thinking I'm going to put it up for trade or maybe sale. I already have the ability to play most of the consoles I do actually play with arcade controls on my cabinets through emulation and that is good enough for me. There is someone out there who will appreciate this thing much more than I will.
