Title: Mk 4 Pcb will not sync up
Post by: bladou20 on May 25, 2012, 12:34:07 am
 Hello all,
I have a question for anyone who has a MK 4 PCB. I just got a dedicated MK4 that needed a monitor. I have tried several monitors and only my K7000 25" and 19" will sync up with the pcb. That monitor is sitting comfortably in my MK1, and I would like to leave it original if possible.
I have tried a polo, neotec and a nieman tri sync. None work. I tried putting other boards in the dedicated cab, and they all worked fine. I have also tried all the combinations possible when it comes to the sync. Did/does anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do to remedy it?
 I appreciate any help.

If the board will sync up with the K7000, then there's nothing wrong with it. MK4 is a standard res board only. It won't work with any medium res chassis'. Are you sure the other monitor's you tried to use are standard res? If so, did you try adjusting your horizontal/vertical sync controls?

The other monitor's  are standard res with the exception of the tri res. I did try adjusting the sync controls, they did not help.
EDIT:
I actually have narrowed the problem down to a problem with the board.
