"best" is not the same as easiest to solder.
HaRuMaN can solder S controllers but he isn't a soldering mortal like me.

What gage wire are you soldering to it?
I plan on doing one soon too.

He asked for best, not easiest.   ;D

I use 22 AWG stranded for all my hacking.

If not ease of soldering, then why are the "S" controllers the best?

Thanks for the suggestion anyhow...my S controllers are en route.

They are the most solid, meaning best quality manufacturing.  You're going to have to scrape off the black conductive paint, you can follow my tutorial for that.

Also, the S pad is common ground, and the triggers are easily hacked, and you can also get the "click" buttons as well.

No problem.

When you get the S controller and open it up, you'll notice there is a black sticker sheet over A,B,X,Y,Black,White.  Peel that off, clean up any leftover adhesive with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol.
