Title: How to add "Play Count" in Mala layout?
Post by: Wade007 on May 17, 2012, 10:38:15 pm
Anyone know how to do this? Add playcount for each game somewhere on the Mala layout?

I'm sure it's simple, what am I overlooking?

Thanks.

Insert a Text object in the layout and type: ~g_played

Oh. I was thinking 'no'. It's been years since I've paid attention to play count, though.

OK. I got it to work.

I assume the "~g_played" command in the text box pulls the info from MAME. Anyway to set this up with other emulators?

[EDIT] Nevermind... I played with it some more. Looks like Mala tracks it. I got it working for other emulators. Nice!!

How does MALA track this? What file tracks plays?
On Aston Belt and Galaxy Ranger (Daphne) it displays a double underline instead of a number. Why is that?
