Is anyone selling a kit where you can assemble the cabinet kit yourself? I believe I saw one awhile back but the price was outrageous.

Cocktail or full size?
Arcade Depot, Northcoast Customs (formally Mameroom).
* I bought a 3-sided cocktail cab kit from Northcoast. I was very happy with product. I have since acquired a UA2, and like that cab, too.

Full size. No Need for cocktail.

As stated above,

What did you do for the monitor? CRT? LCD? Glass top?

For the 3 sided cocktail? I used a big ass CRT PC monitor, 21" and heavy... If I had to do it again, I would use a Dell UltraSharp 2001FP.
I ordered the plexi top from Northcoast, also.

Is it a fullsize plexi that covers the entire tabletop or does it just go in that monitor slot?

Fullsize over the entire top.

These guys have a bunch of different styles that are ready made for x-arcade joysticks and a 22" LCD.
