Title: MaLa automatically lowers wav slider in windows

Im having a problem with MaLa automatically lowering the WAV slider in the windows audio control panel to zero.

This only happens when I use background music in MaLa. As soon as MaLa starts and the background music comes on my WAV slider in windows goes all the way down to no sound and none of the mame games have any sound. You do hear the background music in MaLa though because its an mp3.

How can I stop this from happening?

Im using the newest version of MaLa on xp 64bit with groovymame.

Strange ??? Now it doesn't do it any more after I checked "display volume on screen when changed via controler". I wonder why that would make a difference but it did.

I don't know, that is strange. Mala volume is the same as wave, but on XP I have 'display volume' un-selected, and have no issue.

Did you try the beta version of MaLa to see if that does it.?
