What is the best hinge I could use for the door of my cp ???
I bought an expensive (well $7/

I used the type you first described (the hidden hardware ones with a round base that you make a hole for in the door)
Well, these work better if you set the round part into the side of your cab, rather than the door. You might also need to bevel the inside edge of your door so it doesn't scrape when you open/close.
I'll try to post pictures of my installation when I get time. You might also consider piano hinges (continuous hinges).

thanks for the reply. I will look into putting that bit inside the cab, not sure if will solve the prob i have with it though.
Take a look at these pics.

Shouldn't it work with the hinge installed backwards?
Route out the area for the hinge in the side wall instead of the door...
It seems like that should work. The 2 pieces of wood are placed in the same orietation to each other except that they are swapped.
Give it a shot! (Or let me/us know why that wouldn't work)

Ill give it a shot! Just a pain in the ass, cos i have to route out the hole manually (with a hammer and chisle) although it probably didnt take more than 30 mins to do the one in the door.
