Steam has it on sale. (http://store.steampowered.com/app/620/) In less than 24 hours it'll go back to it's normal $20 price.
-
The only game I ever pre-ordered. Was worth it at $40, certainly worth it at less than $10.
-
One of my all time favorites.
-
I paid $50 for it (PS3) and never regretted it one bit. One of the best gaming experiences ever.
If you don't have it, I recommend you follow shmokes' link and purchase immediately.

Maybe I'll finish the 2 player levels w/my 10 yo this holiday weekend.

The steam workshop for Portal2 has been released. I can't wait to see some of the crazy puzzles the community creates. It'll be like Gary's mod only the stuff will work!!

Thank you, Shmokes! :burgerking:

Loved the first one, got bored halfway through the second one. The jokes had worn pretty thin by then and there was really only so much you could do with the puzzle format. Admit it, you blew through most of the levels in the second one without hardly trying.
I'd recommend you try the coop levels because I agree the ones in the single player were too easy (although I was still very entertained by the single player), but the ones in coop provided a nice challenge, especially when going for the achievements (such as finish this level using only 4 portals)

Agreed. Single player puzzles were pretty easy but I did love the story. Cave Johnson is the bomb. The puzzles in Coop were far more intriguing especially when considering achievements.

I'm going to sound like I work for Valve here (hint: I wish), but FWIW Steam also gives you the option of purchasing games to be gifted to others. If you know anyone who hasn't played Portal, this is a very inexpensive way to remedy that situation.

I would say the puzzles in the 2nd one definitely get better and better by the end, as did the plot/humor. I assume since you got bored you didn't play the whole thing? If so, you also missed one of the best endings in all of gaming. I would say give it another try and see if you still feel the same way.

That's exactly what I did. Both Portal 1 and 2 together are $8.49 if you know someone who hasn't played either.
