Title: neo tec zig zag pattern - SOVED

I just picked up a hyper neogeo 64 cab. The monitor is in decent shape but there is a white line that zig zags across the screen in raster... Before i go and recap this guy, does anyone know what could cause that ?

possibly flyback lines from the screen volts being too high

you mean the vertical retrace line ?

It was indeed the vertical retrace line, someone turned up the main brightness on the flyback so high that it was overcoming the blanking circuit.  :lol
