Check out http://www.arcadeshop.com/ (http://www.arcadeshop.com/) They have a 19" CGA monitor for $189. I checked on shipping, and to Des Moines, IA it was only $18. Not bad! Plus, I'm sick of looking for TV tubes for my 8liners chassis!!! >:(

let us know how your deal goes down with them .... I'm always looking for a new vendor that can be trusted (especially when things arrive broken or damaged ... thats a true test of a good vendor ;D )

I'll post some in game shots when I find my tripod!!
Oh, could one of you admins move this to the monitors forum?
Now, I only need to buy 2 more!! Having this many machines has it's disadvantages.
Thanks,

$18 is a good price to ship a monitor. I was talking to Steven a couple weeks ago about something else and I meant to ask him about those monitors, but our conversation drifted and I totally forgot about it.
Definitely post back with some pics and any post-install tips you run across. Especially the screen adjustments that are available on these chassis. I have a bench full of old W-G chassis and tubes that I occasionally get a chance to work on, but I will unload them after they are fixed to get a couple new monitors if these are pretty good. Sometimes there just isn't enough adjustment on these K4600/4900 & GO7 chassis to get the screen perfect for some games. For example, I can't adjust the horizontal width wide enough on a GO7 to remove the williams "garbage line" from the screen that is visible on the right side of Robotron in my multi-williams cabinet. And I also installed a new h-width coil, too. It doesn't affect play at all, but just seeing the edge of it on the screen disturbs me a tiny bit. :)

Hmm, I might buy one of these eventually too.

On the VGA cable hack, the monitor accepts seperate horizontal and vertical sync inputs. I needed to crank up the brightness and contrast a bit because of the smoked glass on my machine. I ran Marvel vs Capcom on the machine to get the vert and horiz centering/size correct but other than that it's pretty straight forward.
