why not just get a SATA to IDE converter board ala

I do actually. came out from an xbox. assuming thats where its going.

SNAAKE: dont sound bad and think I will take you up on it.

it will be for my pc I need more room I got about 100gb of new pc games I need to install but dont have room.

what I really really need to do is find some time and finish what I got already got installed and partially played before starting/installing even more but hay lol.

so for 30 bucks your going to get a ~160gb hdd

unless it comes with a 160gb hdd for the space I need what possible use would I have for that?

is there 160gb of storage on it? Nope.

so why would I need the extra part and expense again for someting I have no use for?

I ended up getting a 250gb for $30.00 shipped and all set now  :cheers:
