Title: Floor Locks
Post by: kahlid74 on May 01, 2012, 10:03:34 am
Anyone have experience using these on any type of cabinet?  I'm gearing up my BT pod build and I'm considering putting wheels on the bottom to move them around but having the floor lock would be awesome for locking the cabinet into place.

Why don't you just do like regular arcade machines and just have fixed wheels in the back and leg levelers in the front? It seems like a cheaper alternative. What you're showing is cool, but it does seem a bit overkill.

A addendum to my previous post:

If you just want to add them "because you can", then that's ABSOLUTELY a great reason to do it, and you've got my vote.  ;D

It's not just a regular cab, it's a mobile home sized environmental for controlling giant robots.

Le Chuck hit the subject on the head.  I like the idea of moving it by tilting it but at the same time, I kind of need the ability to "steer" it by having four wheels on it.  Either way I bought these with a 50% coupon from Amazon so I'll try them out and see how it goes.

Where the heck did you come up with a 50% off coupon?  I've never even heard of one at Amazon.
