I've seen a couple cabs where they show movie samples on the front end when going through their MAME game lists. Is there a good site to get these? I'm looking to show the movies on my FE in the monitor area of this:

I know how to do it, I just don't have hours to download the movie files...
Thanks!

If you install/use Hyperspin they'll tell you to go to Emumovies.com. They have a $80 dollar lifetime membership where you can get all the movies/artwork your heart desires. They also have an awesome download app that scours your ROMS and then downloads the applicable artwork/movies.
One side note, make sure you know which movies to download before you start it. Hyperspin wants FLV and I downloaded the MP4's first. Whoops.
Also, you can find most of the movies on various torrent sites but that's kind of being a punk since people worked had to put these videos together and they aren't the MPAA/RIAA.

OK, so here's what I did.
First...my PC is not capable of running Hyperspin. I *might* be upgrading it to a dual-core with 2GB to run some of this stuff in the future, but I don't know if I want to do that yet. And, you are right...Hyperspin is bitchin'. It's the only one I'm looking at.
BUT...I have been a member of emumovies for a while and I downloaded their download app. The cool thing is, with the free membership, you can download 250MB/day of non-video. Since I'm only looking for screenshots because of this PCs lack of power, that worked out perfect.
I copied my ROM folders from the 4 emus I'm running to my work computer, installed the app, and I'm downloading the art right now
When I do decide to update the PC, I'm definatly going to get a paid subscription and go for it. It'd be nice to not spend DAYS downloading roms and art. I think I've earned it after all the work/time/money I put into the cab.
:D

FLV videos are like 20 GB for MAME alone. So yeah, that would take you some time at 250/MB per day.

Wow. 3 months of downloading...yeah. That would be a bit much. :laugh2:
I just talked to my PC source and some dual-cores will be coming up in a couple of months. I light the light weight of mamewah, but I REALLY like all the whizzbang stuff in Hyperspin. Plus, I want to start looking into emulating PS1 and some others.
I'm definately in for the $60 subscription...

Hyperspin 2.0 will drop FLV support and will support/require MP4's... so.... hope you didn't delete those MP4's, or you'll be downloading them again whenever 2.0 gets released.... :lol
Oh and yeah, up until a couple of weeks ago Circo at emumovies had a coupon code for 20% off a yearly or lifetime membership for gold members at Hyperspin, which would take it down to a cool $48. Of course, you had to be a Hyperspin gold member but that's definitely worth it too. I think Circo runs that promotion (or one similar) every so often, or maybe you could drop him a PM to see if he could still hook you up...
