I have a 2 really nice poster size graphics I had made up for my SIDE ART but they are only printed GLOSS PAPER. What is recommended for applying this to my cab......I mean Should I use a spray adhensive or something......or Plexi-glass ......? If I use Adhensive, what should I do to pack it down good........Dont want it to start peeling.......
Thanks in advance for the help

first you go to kinkos and laminate the arts.
Glossy paper sucks for artwork unless you laminte.
You can scratch VERY easyly and its all smudgy...
Then you can use 3m spray adhesive.
And while you are at it,stop yelling with all caps... :P

Super 77 is the 3M product you want. Nice, strong adhesive.
After that, I'd use a clearcoat. Some have clearcoated the art before application (1UP) and have commented that it makes the art very similar to vinyl. Whichever route you choose a clearcoat is important for durability.

In addition to the 3M adhesive, could you also recommend a good clearcoat?
Thank you,
Michael

I'm considering using this 3M adhesive, but I have some concerns. It says that it is super fast drying and very strong. Does that make it difficult to place the artwork? I mean, if you apply the art slightly crooked, are you immediatly screwed, or do you have time to make minor adjustments before it dries?
Also - Will excess adhesive end up around the edges of the artwork when you press the artwork into place and smooth it out?
Would it make sense to clearcoat the entire side of the cabinet if I have a lot of small artworks glued to it? Or would it work better to laminate each one?

Any recommendation on the clearcoat? I assume spray cn stuff works best?

I wonder if the clearcoat would also work for a controlpanel?

use adhesive under the side art, and place clear contact paper on the whole side

I just did full side art using 3m super 77 spray adhesive.
Basically I rolled the art up so that the back was facing out. Then I got it lined up so that when I unrolled it, it was lined up the way I wanted it.
THen I clamped the very top and held the rolled up part while I srayed a band of super 77 below. Then unroll the artwork slowly while smoothing it with my hand to get the bubbles out.
Went down the full length like this, then finished up the top.
That super 77 is great, but you have to watch for overspray...it leaves a rough texture wherever it lands (like t-molding).
