Ok, so I got like 6 versions of every game. Is there any reason for this? Is there a quick way to get rid of them or do I have to "right click, remove game from list" on all these games. I have like 4600 games and I bet half of them are multiples.

What frontend?

MALA

I don't use, but here's probably what you want. In the config, Check off Only Masters(*): If this option is marked, MaLa only collects master Games and remove clones.

That might be the ticket. I'll update when I test it. Thanks for the help.

Just a warning: Pacman is a clone of Puckman. And also some two-player versions of 4-player games are clones (important if you don't always want to be the first player character).
Better solution would be to make a gamelist (or numerous gamelists), which Mala does quite easily. Do you really want to rifle through ten thousand games (exaggeration, but "a lot") that are unplayable or genres you're not interested in (e.g. Majong)? You can then hide "ALL GAMES" for guests.

What he said....
Also some of mame's clone/parent relationships are questionable. UMK3 is considered a clone of mortal kombat 3, for example, even though super street fighter 2 is not considered a clone of street fighter 2. What's the difference?
