I upgraded my cab a while ago with two Magstick plus sticks, as there's not enough room on the control panel for a dedicated 4-way, and I like to play both 4 and 8-way games.
In general I really like them - they're great for 4-way, and in 8-way games that don't require precise movement they're fine, but I find them too corner happy for games like Berzerk and Robotron. Often I find them firing or moving diagonally rather than left or right, which makes playing those games very difficult.
Are there any mods to make them less corner happy? I was thinking I might need to add a custom 8-way restrictor somehow to limit the diagonals in 8-way mode and to make it easier to hit the primary directions.
