Ok, so I haven't used my arcade machine much in years. I was having PC problems ect... it sat in the corner and collected dust.
Well, I got two new(used) c2d 3ghz machines with nvidia 260 video cards to use in my arcade (and one for a projector arcade in the basement maybe? not sure yet).
So I set everything up, get the basics going... but I'm having trouble with the betson!
I can't get it to full width?!?! I have the settings set to 100%... but I have about an inch on each side of the monitor! I've tried many different resolutions and no go! NOTE: I did try my old machine and it had the same problem, so I'm pretty sure it isn't the video card...
I've also looked at the monitor boards, and there are only 3 adjustments and they don't help.
Could it be that with less then 100 hours on the monitor, and just sitting I need a cap kit?
How about the adjustments on the back of the tube? Could it be fixed by moving one of them?
Should I give up on the monitor and just go with some LCD's and pretend I don't know the difference?
Thanks

you can access factory settings by holding "up" button on power on,this will give you access to many more options and I think you will find you will get much more horizontal size in this menu
don't change too many things in this menu and I am not responsible if you mess up your settings ;)
