Title: Bezel artwork question
Post by: alfonzotan on April 10, 2012, 02:03:00 pm
I've been using a repro Defender bezel on smoked plexi in my cab since it was built last year.  I still love the Defender artwork, and the size is perfect for my monitor, but the plexi is a touch too dark, and besides which it has a big visible flaw right in the middle of the viewing area (I can't blame the guy I bought it from; the flaw wasn't apparent until the backing vinyl came off).

I finally decided to replace that plexi, and I have a pane of Graylite 31 on order which should be ready next week.  Is there any particular reason why I shouldn't get new bezel art printed on rigid card stock, and then sandwich that between the Graylite glass and a thin clear sheet?  I'd rather do that than mess around with vinyl and/or a stick-on backing.

Oh, come on.  Isn't anybody at least going to make an insulting comment?  I feel all left out now...
