Title: need help picking a colour layout or theme for new bartop MAME

SO I am in the fimal stages of making my new MAME bartop (1 player)

I am looking for ideas on how to "Finnish" this project with regards to art/colours/theme...anything.  The button colours are not set in stone either.

If your looking for a cheap solution and with the button layout you have I would go with a fighters theme i.e street fighter. You can pick up posters off ebay which you could use for your side art and print out your own Marquee and control panel using your home printer. Thats what I do.

You should have known you'd get a buncha smart aleck answers..... :laugh2:

That being said, you could go with a red and black fighter theme, there's a ton of assorted characters with that color scheme. Although my first recommendation would be a Chon Aniki theme.....

I think original Nintendo is a cool theme, like Mario 1 or Mario 3.. spend some time looking at google images of random stuff you think of. Listening to my iPod today, I seen a cool album cover - "Reroute to Remain" by In Flames, check it out, the options are endless..
