Hello, yes I did some searching on this...

But I was wondering if I update to Mame 145 will my CHD's version 4 work at all?

I read that I should wait for Mame 146 before trying a mass update to version 5.

Thanks....I am waiting to update.
I just want to know if CHD's ver 4 will work with Mame 145

yes they will work. all my chd are V 4 only need to update so the rom managers will stop crying bout it mame doesnt care from what ive seen.
running mame 145 and V 4 chds in my cab now.
