Title: Quarterback arcade machine. Questions inside...
Post by: Blux on April 03, 2012, 06:36:41 pm
Found one today for $100.

Its in terrible condition though, looks like the entire thing got rained on as all of the edges of the wood are swollen.

Its complete though.

I think I might could talk the guy down to $50, which to me seems worth it for the coin door, and the control panel.

Its the same style cabinet as the first and second one pictured.

I would love to use it as a template, and have the control panel to re-use in the one I build.  The PCB looked to be in decent shape, didn't see any blown caps or cracked joints.  Honestly I don't care about the monitor/PCB/power supply.

What do you guys think?

So I sent the place that has the machine a message on facebook before I ever went up there to look at it.  They just got back to me yesterday.

"$50.  Pretty sure it doesn't work"

Looks like I might be picking up a Quarterback
