Hi all, I wasn't sure whether to post this in the General forum or Software, but anyway...
I finally have my cabinet almost up and running, there are just a few problems in my way now.
First of all, I am using a Happ trackball and a Hagstrom KE72-T, as well as the SlikStik Tornado spinner. The problem I am running into is that on the trackball, the x-axis is reversed; so whenever I move it to the left it goes right, and vice-verse. The other problem is that I have the spinner in vertical mode, and when I turn the spinner clockwise it goes up, and when I turn it counter-clockwise, it goes down. Is there something in Windows that I can fix this with?

When you have a game up on mame, hit tab and set the the Input (General).

As MTPPC mentioned, you can change it in MAME's General input setting (or via individual game settings if you wish). I had the same issue with Golden Tee when I first setup my trackball (also a Happ), now it works excellently! I assume as a mouse in Windows it works correctly? Or does this same reverse issue occur with the pointer in Windows too? If it doesn't work correctly in Windows you may need a different mouse driver, else you should be able to play with the "pointing device/mouse" settings in the Control Panel.

I actually have a happ trackball and got two random questions (not trying to hijack the thread).
How did you get the trackball to work in mame? It works as a regular mouse in windows, but nothing works in mame.
Also, the light that is under the trackball.... how do I connect that to make the ball light up?

In your mame.ini file, have you enabled mouse? It should have a 1 next to Mouse instead of 0.

Nope... thanks will try it.
