Title: 6-1 hamma switcher replacement remote
Post by: ctozzi on March 15, 2012, 10:12:11 am
Guys a buddy of mine has a 6-1 jamma switcher from jammaboards.com and thinks the remote is bad. He has replaced the battery and it does not switch the switcher or allow the switcher to access each slot, thus making it useless. Any ideas on how he can get a new remote or fix this one ? He contacted jammaboards.com and they said their only solution is to buy a whole new setup, that seems crazy. It does work and it has worked but it seems as though the remote has been " disconnected " to his switcher.
Thanks
CHris

You could probably replace the switcher circuit with a PB switch if you can find the part of the PC board that senses the remote.
